How should Syrian President Bashar al-Assad be held accountable for the human rights violations and atrocities committed by his regime?

It seems that the only conflict which interests them in the Middle East is Gaza and only Gaza. It’s not clear why.

But, for whatever reason the ICC has seemed largely disinterested in the alleged human right violations committed under the direction of Assad during the 13 year Syrian civil war. They also seem similarly disinterested in the similarly lengthy (and similarly filled with atrocities) Yemeni civil war.

That would be nice.

Isn't it great that we have an incoming president who is embracing ideas from the past like manifest destiny? Isn't it greater that Trump is willing to get us more territory and land?
